Dr. Manju Sharma is currently working as Associate Professor in School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad since March 2024. She is also serving as Associate Director March 2025 onwards at Centre for Integrated Studies, University of Hyderabad. She joined School of Chemistry, UoH as Assistant Professor in Jan 2017.

She gained her first postdoctoral experience in research group of Prof. Berend Smit at Dept of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley, USA (2009-2010) and did her second postdoc in research group of Prof. Bernhardt L. Trout at Department of Chemical Engineering in MIT, USA (2010-2015).

She pursued her PhD under the mentorship of Prof. S. Yashonath in Computational Chemistry at SSCU, IISc, Bengaluru (2002-2009).

 

She obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry Honours from Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh (1997-2002).
